Waylander and Druss are great characters! I listened to the whole series on Audible and the narrator has a magnificent voice, I'm tempted to start over again
I actually just finished Way of Kings myself. I find Sanderson a bit fluffy and over the top, much like a shonen anime or some video games. However, it was a fun read, and I'll probably pick up book two at some point.
Also, I definitely want to hear more about the anthology!
I'm enjoying Way of Kings but it is a bit much, you're right. I remember quite early on there was like a 45 minute chapter with those those two women (can't remember their names) just having a conversation lol Thanks for showing an interest in the anthology too :) It'll be done this year so I'll be speaking much more about it
Glad you are feeling better.
The Drenei series from David Gemmel (RIP) is spectacular. He was a huge influence on me growing up.

I just did that with Simon Scarrow's Eagles of the Empire series!
I'm sorry you began the year ill, but to me, this looks like a super month. Plus I think watching TV is good for creativity.
Thank you, it was good month to be fair. I had a good excuse to rewatch the Lord of the Rings too 😆
